Hydrangea

The beautiful simplicity of hydrangea flowers always charms me into painting their portraits. The clusters of delicate four-petal flowers often change colour as they bloom through the seasons from early spring to late fall. The colours range from pale and deep cobalt blues, light and dark pinks, mauves, and cranberry, to soft yellow and blue greens. Hydrangeas are native to southern and eastern Asia and the Americas.
