Goldstream Provincial Park is sheltered and shaded by high mountains on either side of Goldstream River, except for the beautiful "Morning Light" rays beaming through the trees. It is one of my favourite, lush, woodland parks located at the head of Saanich Inlet, which runs in a north/south direction on southern Vancouver Island. This magical temperate rainforest is draped in a generosity of beautiful green hues, and the river, except at spring run-off time, is gentle and refreshing.
