Pansy Party

Pansies are wildflowers of Europe and western Asia. Also called “heart’s ease” this name came from St. Euphrasia whose name in Greek signifies cheerfulness of mind. It is also a symbol of remembrance, and its name “Pansy” comes from the French word pensée. The martini glass was a gift, and I can’t help but smile when I think of the giver and see these cheerful pansies adorning it.
