We loved ice skating on local frozen ponds in bright sunshine, watching our breath freeze in the cold air as it ascended, waking up to the sparkle of crisp, and white snowflakes gently falling from the heavens. A special treat was seeing fresh animal and bird tracks crossing the garden path out to open white fields, and the amazingly beautiful frost patterns that decorated the inside of our draughty glass windows.
The feelings and visions each person gathers and stores over a lifetime have a story of their own and are always ready to be shared creatively and joyfully with others. Anyone of these memories and many others could be painted with a sense of time and place. It’s now time to get started with paint brush in hand!
Happy Painting!
